Cross analysed with Human Development Index ranking averages for each region. The x-axis measures the average HDI value of each region (scale ranges from .38 to .95). The y-axis measures average perception of the world in 2045 on a 3-point scale (ranging from Worse (-1) to Better (+1), Stay the same (0). Countries without a value for HDI have imputed values based upon the country’s regional average.
